What is IELTS? The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an examination jointly assessed and run by Cambridge ESOL, the British Council, and IELTS Australia: IDP Education Australia. Candidates are tested in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. - The courses aim to:
- Prepare students for the IELTS exam, focusing on all the major skills
- Tutor students on exam techniques
- Provide valuable & constructive feedback to increase chances of success
Who is the "English for IELTS" for? There are two kinds of IELTS courses:
Academic IELTS: This is for foreign students who wish to study at a British University. Most Universities require a certain IELTS score for access to their courses. General IELTS: Doctors & nurses from other countries must attain a certain "General IELTS" score before they can work in the UK.
