Both schools are located in excellent areas. TLSI Oxford Street is in Zone 1 and is five minutes walk from Oxford Circus or Tottenham Court Road (depending on how many shops you stop at on the way). TLSI Finsbury Park is in Zone 2 and is seven minutes from Finsbury Park Tube station.

  • Is the school located in a safe area?
Yes both school are located within safe areas. However, we always advise students to take care when going out along at night.

  • Does TLSI have FREE Internet access for students?
Yes, students can access the Internet free of charge in both TLSI North and TLSI Central. TLSI Finsbury Park now has a wireless network so students can use their own laptop to access the internet.

  • Is there an age limit for students?
Minimum age is 17. Students who are under 18 need a letter from their parents or guardian. There is no maximum age.

  • What are the main nationalities of the students at TLSI?
TLSI welcomes students from all over the world: Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and ...

  • Is it easy to find a job in London?
This depends on your experience and qualifications.

  • How much do I need to spend per week on food, transport and accommodation in London?
If you study 14 weeks or more you will get 30% discount on travel. In general you will need between £80 and £140 per week depending on how expensive your accommodation is.

  • Can you tell me which bank to go to?
We do not have an agreement  with a specific bank. We recommend you to visit your local branch and ask if a letter from your college will assist you in opening an account. If you then provide us with the exact address of your bank we will issue you with a bank letter.

  • Can you give me a letter for Council Tax?
Yes but it is important to check with your council first if your course qualifies for discount. Some council require more intensive courses.

  • Can I have a reference for my employer?
The employer can always send a reference request to the DOS.

  • Can I get a letter from you saying I am allowed to work?
This information can be obtained from the Home Office Website.

  • How can I register with the NHS?
If you are a student for more than 6 months you can register with the NHS. Short-term students will have limited NHS services such as accidents and emergency services.

  • How can I get from the place where I live to the school?
You can use the bus, underground, taxi or maybe cycle to school.

  • Do I get a discount for public transportation if I’m a student?
If your course is 14 weeks or more you qualify for a Student Transport Discount card.

  • Why are your prices so low?
    Our prices are very competitive because we do not charge any extra fees.
