VISA ASSISTANCE

BEFORE COMING TO THE UK

Students who require a visa to  enter in the United Kingdom must attend a course of at least 15 hours of instruction per week. European Economic Area (EEA) nationals do not require a visa to enter and study in the United Kingdom. After receiving payment of all requested fees for accommodation and studying, the school sends to the student a Certificate of Enrolment and all the necessary documents regarding accommodation in order to present them to the embassy when applying for a visa.

It is now recommended to all students to apply for an entry visa before arrival.

EXTENDING YOUR VISA

Students apply to the Home Office to extend their visas (address below). You should apply for an extension about one month before your current visa expires. You can go to the Home Office to make your application (direction available in the office); however, generally we recommend that you post your application.

Your application should include: your passport, a detailed bank statement for the last three months or a sponsor's letter and bank balance, a school letter, your police registration certificate if you were asked to register and the Home Office fee.

You can obtain Home Office forms and all relevant school documents for your application free of charge from the reception.
